Hi everyone,
just wondering how to address and fix this issue, had a waterstained on the alfresco ceiling. Checked the gutter and roof nothing is blocking / chipped ( please let me know if im wrong)
From what you’ve shared, @genzoalma, there’s nothing obvious in the photos that points directly to a problem, but with water stains, it’s rarely straightforward. Water can travel along timber framing or roof cavities and show up well away from the actual entry point, so the leak might be meters away from where the stain appears. Even if the gutter and roof look clear, it’s possible water is getting in elsewhere and tracking along the structure before it shows on the underside of the alfresco ceiling.
If you can safely access the roof cavity, you could try inspecting for damp spots or drips, but these situations are often tricky to diagnose without getting up there. The safest approach is to engage a leak specialist as they can trace the source properly and help prevent further damage. That said, the stain itself doesn’t look severe, so it may only be minor water ingress, but it’s still worth investigating to avoid any ongoing issues.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
