Air return vent missing filter

The Air return vent in my house has got no filter installed i wonder what type and size of filter can be installed behind it ?

Hello @vick87

Thank you for sharing the photos of your vent cover. I recommend using the Accord 1050 x 700mm Vent Replacement Filter. The Accord Vent Replacement Filter replaces both Cloth and Mesh Type Filters for heating and cooling systems. It can be cut down with a Stanley Knife and can easily be cleaned by brushing, washing, or vacuuming.

@EricL how do we place it in the grill? The one you suggested is very thin.

Hi @DIYImpressions,

Do you have any photos of your grill that you could share?

You may be able to cut a piece to size, then use something like these Rolltrak Clear Flyscreen Swivel Clips screwed to the outside of the frame to hold it in place.
