Double door security bolt won't unlock with key

Hi experts,

There is a security lock at the bottom of these double door and it will not unlock with the key.

There is nothing showing on the other side of the door, and no space underneath the door (1-2mm).

How do I unlock it? I can't see anything in the small hole. The key turns and makes clicking sounds but it does not unlock.

Any help appreciated! Thank you.

I am not sure. Here is a close up photo of the bottom of the door. What do you think?

Thank you for posting that photo of your door assembly. I believe you can install a Lockwood Black Patio Door Bolt on the premise that the door frame is tall enough to mount the patio receiver. However, I propose re-visiting @JoeAzza's suggestion of unscrewing one side of the hinges so that you can get access to the bottom of the door. I recommend visiting the store and having a look at the door surface locking assemblies on offer.
