Hi there, I just want to change the roller of my slide door, but unlike other ones, mine is like this. Did anyone get knowledge or experience of taking this out? Many thx.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @johnshe. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about replacing a door roller.
You'll need to remove the door from the track before accessing the roller. Grip the door on either side and lift it upwards. Once it hits the top of the frame, the bottom edge will be free from the track, and you can tilt it outwards. If it's a heavy door, please grab a hand, as it can be a bit to manage on your own.
Once the door is out, gently lay it on its side and have a look for the fixing screws. If you undo them, you'll release the mechanism holding the roller. Take the roller to your nearest Bunnings store, and a helpful team member will be able to match it up for you.
