Awning window opening replacement

I have a bulky old awning window mechanism which i would like to replace with a flush fitting mechanism. Is it possible to do so without buying a new window and where would i get a new mechanism please.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your awning.

In order to give our members a better idea of how the awning is situated and how much space you have around your windows, would it be possible for you to post a photo of the window with the awning included. Once our members see the photo, they will be able to make recommendations on how to proceed.

The store currently carries fixed awnings and a large retractable awning. I suggest having a look on the Bunnings website and see if any of those awnings are suitable to your needs.
