My dad renovated the bathroom at my unit using tiles and fixtures from Bunnings.  Also painted the floor with Dulux renovations range. Everything was in stock so no waiting.  It cost around $3000 and the real estate agent estimated that it added around $35 000 to the sale price.

Wow @kdowne what a fantastic transformation.

Amazing how small projects can bring such big value! I am loving the kit kat tile for your feature wall behind the sink and also the addition of the shelves. Was the vanity updated with a dowel look? Was that hard to create?

Dowel effect on cabinets was easy and looked much better than I anticipated.  I used Araldite and 8 x Porta 12 x 6mm 2.4m Tasmanian Oak Half Round Fly Bead.

Hello @kdowne

What a fantastic update, painting the tiled floor really shifted the rooms character. I totally agree with @KatieC, that dowel effect on your vanity took me by surprise and makes it blend in so well with the new tiles at the back.

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful renovation.
