How to paint timber architraves?

What is the correct order for painting new timber architraves,  first undercoat then fill nail holes then sand then topcoat, or fill nail holes then undercoat then topcoat.

I would fill first.

Thanks Brad, I thought that would be the right thing to do.

Re: Painting timber architraves

Hi @Shaz28

It's great that you've received good advice from @Brad. Just to add to the suggestion made. I recommend giving the filler maximum cure time so that it does not crack or sink once you've painted over it.

Please keep us updated with your progress, we look forward to seeing your architraves freshly painted.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
