I'm after some thoughts/ opinions about my newly renovated bathroom in a 1970s unit (the unit's dodgy construction threw up many challenges).
1. Am I correct in thinking a piece of water-stop is missing where tiles meet cavity sliding door?
2. The floor falls from shower door towards bedroom door (where carpet will be installed), and water escaping from shower pools near bedroom door. There's no drain in the floor. The builder said he created fall in this direction so the cavity slider door could fit over tiles. (A water bar was installed under shower door. Water sometimes leaks through vertical openings beside door.)
3. Decorative trim on shower hob creates a barrier that prevents drainage, even though hob has correct fall. Water drains ok in small section where tile sits proud of the trim.
Thanks for any advice on whether these are faults, & on possible solutions.
