Splashback laundry help

Hi workshop renos people.

I am currently renovating my laundry and my tiler has installed a splashback the same as my floors. I do have a washer and dryer that will be installed. My question is to you all, is there a way to improve the splashback or extend it? To me it looks abnormal (see photos) .

Any advice is much appreciated

I think the proportions are wrong, which is why the splashback looks odd. Just one tile high rather than two would look better.
