hairline cracks bathroom tiles

Hi team, bottom row tiles of my bathroom have hairline cracks and building up would. There are no signs of water leakage to the walls. And cracks are limited to only the bottom row.

Can you advise how I can fix or fill the hairline cracks.

Re: hairline cracks bathroom tiles

Hello @rmnp

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your bathroom tiles.

It appears that mould has set into the hairline cracks, I suggest using Exit Mould 500mL Mould & Stain Cleaner Trigger Spray on the surface in combination with a Mr Clean Handheld Iron Scrub Brush or similar. Rinse the surface very well and make sure that it is totally dry.

Once you are sure that the surface is totally dry and there is no residual moisture in the hairline cracks, I suggest using CPC 220ml Shower Plug Sealant to seal the grout and tile. Generally speaking, I would often suggest using the PC-11 56g White Epoxy Paste but the hairline cracks on your tile appear to be too fine. I recommend thinking about replacing those damaged sections with new tiles.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
