Recycled Pine, reinforced steel bars, barn door tracks and a hardwood benchtop used to build a dog crate cabinet.
This is my latest project - a dog crate buffet cabinet with a sliding mini barn door. This is used as a safe place for pets to sleep.
The cabinet was constructed from recycled materials such as Pine, reinforced steel bars and the hardwood benchtop. I managed to find a set of cabinet size rail track which was a perfect size for this job.
Installing the reinforced bars was not as difficult as it looks. I was able to insert them after the painting was finished. I drilled the holes at the top deeper than the bottom so when I went to slide the bar up, it cleared the bottom beam, then I could slide the bars back down into the bottom holes.
