Brand new gardena hose and connector. Hose keeps popping out, and cant fix it in.
Any hints on how to keep the end of the hose in the connector ?
Hi @Shaz1968,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.
When you say the hose is popping out of the connector, is the connector one like this Pope 12mm Comfort Grip Hose Connector?
If so, the first thing you should do is unscrew the nut from the connector and check that the end of the hose is nice and square, trimming it if needed. Once you've confirmed the end of the nose is square, push it as far as you can into the connector before tightening the nut to secure everything in place.
If you find that you are still having issues, you should consider upgrading to a metal connector like this Holman 12mm Brass Hose Connector, as the metal connectors tend to grip onto the hose more tightly.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
