Gardening - Flowers & Plants at the front / facade of house

Hello Members,

We are planning to buy tools for Gardening and experience gardening, starting with sowing seeds. It is a landed property.

Wondering on necessary tools to buy for digging sand and sowing seeds; May you please provide the link for the tools need,  from bunnings web-portal,  for us to add to our shopping list.

Also request for your proposal for 'Nice fragrance flowering plants' at front and backyards.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks and good weekend.

Best Wishes

M.Muthu.

Re: Gardening - Flowers & Plants at the front / facade of house

Hi @nagumuthu,

Here are some helpful step-by-step D.I.Y articles on How to build a simple raised garden bedHow to fill a raised garden bedHow to create an organic garden and How to plant seedlings.

Some suggested tools for digging and sowing seeds would be- Fiskars aluminium trowel, Garden SpadeSeasol 1.2L Seaweed Health Tonic ConcentrateScotts Osmocote 25L Premium Potting Mix and Richgro 2.5kg All Purpose Vegetable And Herb Fertiliser.

There are many fragrant flowering plants which you could select from. Some might be better suited to your location in Australia than others. A few that come to mind would be Lavender, Gardenia, Jasmine and Hyacinth. Our helpful gardening experts @Noelle and @Adam_W might like to join the discussion and suggest what their favourite plants with fragrant flowers are.

Please let me know if you need further assistance or had any questions.

Mitchell
