How can I get a Blade Retaining Bolt for my Ozito 7.2V Hedge Trimmer as its an old Model

How can I obtain a broken Blade retaining Bolt for my Ozito 7.2V Hedge Trimmer please as a discontinued Model and Bunnings Hawthorn apparently can't help me neither can Ozito ?

If unavailable for my model CE-72 can one from a later Model be used , ie; and 18V model ?

Any helpful advice would be most appreciated please.

Many thanks

Hi @Roy1,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

Unfortunately, if you have already spoken with Ozito and the team at your local store, I'd say spare parts are unavailable, but if it is a simple bolt, then there may be a way to replace it with a generic one.

I'm struggling to find any information on the CE-72 trimmer. Would it be possible to get a photo or two of your trimmer so I can further look into your issue? A photo of the plate showing the model number, as well as the location where it sat and the rough diameter of the retaining bolt would definitely help.

I will assist further when you can get back to me.

Hi @Roy1

Been there and done that mate, you will need pop riveter, pops and washers.

The model number 'CE-72' is misleading, I am sure you have the 'Ozito 7.2V Cordless Hedge Trimmer and Shear (Model HTL-072)' - because I have one! Here is the link to the Ozito website.

Come back if you need any assistance...
