Hello,
I'd love some advice on joining an old ag pipe that was partially dug out. I've bought a new ag pipe but now sure how to join these sections.
Any advice is welcome.
Thank you

Hi @ohmy,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Depending on the diameter of your agi pipe, you would just use either a 100mm Draincoil Coupling, a 65mm Draincoil Coupling, or a coupling of the correct diameter to join them.
You'd want to tidy up the end of the old agi pipe by cutting it with a hacksaw, but then it is as simple as pressing the fitting over the corrugations and pressing them together. As they are not carrying sewage or pressurised, there is no need for them to be sealed in the same way as PVC pipe.
You can see an example of a fitting being installed at 3:40 in Vinidex Draincoil® How To DIY.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
