How do you tag your plants?

Hi All, how do you label your pots, seeds and cuttings etc.

I have used quite a few different ways.

Originally I bought plastic, stick in the pot tags that I would write on with the contents.  I then decided what things I had at home, to be able to recycle tags.

I decided that aluminium cans were soft enough to write on.

I cut out tags and trimmed off the sharp edges and found that it is so easy to scribe with a nail or the same to put the description on.

One day I was having a coffee and everybody were throwing there spoons in the rubbish, I thought what a waste.

Now I collect them and use them to stick in pots to label them.IMG_20180315_152850.jpg

When you need to write on the plastic spoon you can use a special pencil that will write on glass, available from Office Works

Cheers and happy gardening:bigsmile:

Re: How do you tag your plants

These are great suggestions thanks @bergs. It's a job I always intend to do but usually neglect.
