This plant was doing great till winter hit.
I asked in store and was told it's because we've had a wet winter and fertilise.
It hasn't made any difference.
Please any help is very much appreciated.
Added a photo when it was happy.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Gelderland. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about plant care.
Thanks for sharing the photo. From what I can see, your Stephanotis is showing signs of stress that are common after a wet, cold winter. The yellowing leaves with some spotting suggest a combination of overwatering, poor drainage, and possibly fungal issues, rather than just a nutrient deficiency. Stephanotis prefers well-draining soil and doesn’t like “wet feet,” especially in winter. To help it recover, check the drainage to make sure the soil isn’t compacted or holding water. If it’s in a garden bed that tends to stay wet, consider lifting it slightly or adding a well-draining mix around the roots. Reduce watering by only giving it water when the top 2–3 cm of soil is dry, particularly in cooler months, as overwatering in winter can cause yellowing leaves and root stress.
Remove yellow or heavily spotted leaves to reduce stress and prevent fungal spread. Since it's now Spring and the plant is actively growing, it would be worth adding a slow-release fertiliser. If you correct drainage and reduce overwatering, your Stephanotis should start producing new healthy growth, and you may also see some leaves drop naturally as it adjusts.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
