Wow June has certainly had a lot of drama in Melbourne, lockdown 4.0 and then a massive storm with so much damage. Very traumatic for a lot of families with homes damaged and businesses that were ready to go back to work impacted. Lucky for us we have had no structural damage.  We had  3 very large trees plus smaller ones come down so a lot of cleaning up to do.
I have done a few little jobs this month as well as the pruning, cuttings etc. I have put some concrete blocks to good use to extend the raised veggie beds. I just need to purchase some more wire to redo the fence to keep Audrey Golden out. Today I went to Bunnings, (yay you’re open again) for some new plants for a new little garden bed. I have also put lots of cuttings and seeds in. It was an area where I

pulled out an old dying shrub and found the long lost ponds and rocks.

Re: June in the garden

I'm glad that no serious damage was done to your property @LisasGarden

Your garden is looking wonderful as always, and it's pleasing to know you've been able to visit a store once again. What veggies do you have in the ground at the moment? I'm looking to plant out my beds, and I'm still undecided on what to go with.

Many thanks for your update, and I look forward to the next one.

Mitchell

See something interesting? Give it the thumbs up!

Re: June in the garden

Hi Mitchell,

Thank you.

At moment I am growing 3 different types of spinach (including perennial ones) , silverbeet, broccoli, purple cauliflower, lettuce, snow peas  and numerous herbs. Most are growing well except the cauliflower has been a bit slow off the mark.
