Landscaping ideas with a low bowl planter

ivanptr_0-1628834554201.png

This is left by the previous owner , and we see the plant is dead and the solar pathway light is not working either.

What could we do with this bowl?

Is there anything we could put in there which doesnt require maintenance?

How about some pebbles and artifical plants?

If we put in real plants, we are worried the future tenants wont take care of them, leaving them to death again.

Much appreciated for any ideas.

Re: Landscaping ideas with a low bowl planter

Hi @ivanptr,

Let me kick off the discussion. It's an attractive planter and I would be looking at succulents. Something like this example from my own garden, which our puppy Hazelnut is admiring.

Re: Landscraping ideas for a low bowl planter

Hi @ivanptr,

That's a sensational suggestion from @Jason and would have to be one of your lower maintenance options. Succulents tend to thrive in warm, dry climates and don't mind a little neglect. We have a fantastic range of succulents to choose from, and if you were to use a few different varieties, I believe it could look quite stunning.

I've put together a quick little example image for you. Looks terrific if you ask me.
