No dig method for tomato and corn seedlings

Hello

I have bought some tomato and corn seedlings should I plant them out now despite the rain daily (in Melbourne)?

I have also applied the "no dig method" hopefully it works, anyone has experience with this an would like to share?

I would have thought the rain would be good for the young plants.

Re: No dig method for tomato and corn seedlings

Hi @crimsonqueen,
I think the cold will be the enemy you have to watch, young plants need warmth. Are they small enough to put a sawn off soft drink bottle over them to act like a mini greenhouse? Also, my experience with the no dig gardening method is it sinks majorly so you'll want to pile it high if you're working to a garden edge.
