With an extra coat hanger on each side, and thin aluminium wire to serve as the holders. This means taller plants can accommodated.

Great idea and well executed there..

 

But it's got me thinking about expanding it into a rotating herb and salad plantation system that can be placed on the outside wall of a small balcony that doesn't really have enough room for container gardening- just spin it to grab the herbs or greens you want and rotate it to water.  If I follow through I'll come back and post plans and photos. cheers, Paul

Using the cute little Bunnings pots, a Ferris wheel can be made using wire coat hangers.

That looks like a fun project, @Jamespeter100! As always, I'm sure our members would be more than interested to know how you create these wonderful projects, so any additional information you can provide would be appreciated.

 

Does it rotate as well? That might not be optimal for stability but would certainly be the icing on the cake for me.
