HELP... we just returned from 2 months away from home find grasshoppers had decimated our citrus plants. They are only small. We have sprayed but do we prune? If so how much. Live in the Pilbara where it is still very hot.
Any advice appreciated.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about your citrus plants.
I'm sorry to hear your citrus plants got decimated. Hold off on the secateurs, when plants are damaged, they often have an automatic response of trying to recover from that damage. Some grow more roots others burst into a flurry of growth. I recommend holding off and waiting for the new leaf buds to appear. The plant will actually decide which branch it will not support and which ones it will put the new leaves on.
When the plant starts to recover you'll notice some branches have turned brown and have no leaves on them. These are the ones you need to prune off. Too much pruning will over-tax the recovery system of the plant. Once the plant has an adequate number of leaves and has come back from the attack, you can then start to prune it.
