Hi,
Looking for suggestions for indoor (“air-purifying”) plants that aren’t listed as invasive weeds.
As a Landcare member who is constantly battling escaped plants that have become weeds on our property and region, it is frustrating to see suggestions on the Bunnings list that include known invasive weeds, eg English ivy.
Has anyone else gone through any and all suggestions, checking them against weed status, and found some good ones?
Hi @FiH,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
The following plants would be effective air purifiers that have no known invasive issues as per Weeds Australia.
Let me know what you think and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Jacob
Brilliant! Thank you! I thought someone would have already thought of it.
If the powers that be could get Bunnings garden and Landcare people together to promote ‘weed status safe gardening’, wouldn’t that be awesome??
Hi @FiH,
No worries, happy to help.
We will pass on your feedback to the relevant team members.
