I have a XU1 whipper snipper purchased from Bunnings but out of Warranty
model XGT/018
The battery is not holding much charge and I would like to purchase a replacement. However it seems that the new range is not compatible. Does anyone know of an equivalent?
I bought this cordless XU1 hedge trimmer in May 17 2025. But, the battery is not working anymore. The store doesnot have this battery, but there was 1 year warranty, but I lost the recipet. I have recipt number of payment from my Commbank. Can we retrive the recipt or is there any other way to get the battery?

It's good that you have your bank details, I suggest returning to the store where you purchased the line trimmer from. Proceed to the customer service department and ask them to track down your receipt number using your bank details, you can then ask them to reprint your original docket. Once you have your docket in hand you can now apply for the warranty for the tool. Another method to try and source the battery is to call the Bunnings Spare Parts Team on 1800 772 737 or fill in the form on the website. They will be able to track down the part that you need for your tool.
