Hi all! 👋
We have interior brick wall like the attached photo throughout the living room and the bedroom. We thought of cleaning and sealing it so that it will not get dusty.
Would like to get some advice if that is the right way of making these brick walls easy to maintain, and also how to come about cleaning & sealing brick walls. From my research it looks like it involves:
1. Dusting the brick wall
2. Cleaning the brick wall with a wet sponge
3. Sealing the brick wall with a sealant.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated, thank you all in advanced!
Hello @JustinT
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about sealing your interior brick wall.
The steps you've outlined are ideal before painting the brick surface. Please make sure that the surface is totally dry and free of residual moisture before sealing. I propose looking at the Crommelin 4L Water Based Brick And Render Sealer. If used as a clear sealer, the Brick and Render Sealer will leave a low sheen to semi-gloss finish, successfully repelling most stains and moisture.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
