got a chipboard coffee table how can I seal the chipboard what can I use ??
Hi @tisme,
I apologise for the delay in my reply.
If you are happy with the look of the chipboard and simply want to bind and seal the particles then Cabot's Water Based Gloss Cabothane Clear Non-Drip Timber Varnish would be a suitable product. Or for that matter, any interior varnish designed for tabletops would be fine.
Did you want to seal it because you intend on painting it? If so I would recommend a primer/sealer/undercoat like British Paints 1L White 4 In 1 Prep Water Based Primer Sealer Undercoat.
Let me mention a few keen woodworkers @woodenwookie, @WoodenGregsWood, @Poppop and @r23on to see if there are other options for sealing chipboard.
Please let me know if you need further information or had questions.
Mitchell
