What colour is this?

Hi,

Can you please tell me how to find a colour based on the below:

Formula : SALTPAN - 37522

Library : TAUBMANS_W.LIB

Range : DULUX

Product : TRADEX

I can't find it anywhere

Hi @pieroa,

Looking at this label, it appears as though a Dulux colour was tinting into Taubmans branded paint. This isn't uncommon, and there are a few reasons a professional painter or D.I.Yer would choose to do this.

Interestingly, the Dulux website doesn't show a search result for 'Saltpan', which according to the label appears to be the name of the Dulux colour. Luckily you still have the paint colour formula, so if you need more of the same colour you can get it tinted again.

If you're looking for a contrasting or complimentary colour, I'd suggest painting this colour onto something that you can take into your local Bunnings and match against the range of colour chips on display in-store.
