Any safe and legal DIY method of running power to a large Gazebo to run plug in strip heater?

Hi,

Just seeking some help re running a power supply to a large outdoor gazebo.

Idea is to run a plug in strip heater, some led shed lights and possible a tv.

What would be safe and legal diy solution??

I am thinking outdoor extension cords, waterproof extensions etc etc.

Thanks

Re: Any safe and legal DIY method of running power to a large Gazebo to run plug in strip heater?

Hello @khalidrajput

Thanks for sharing your question about running power to your gazebo. The appliances you've mentioned are of a permanent nature and are unlikely to be moved often. In the interest of health and safety, I suggest engaging the services of a registered electrician and asking them for a quote on how much it will cost to put an exterior power point in your gazebo.

They will put in the proper weatherproof power point and run the cables in the correct conduits to keep you and your family safe. Please note that any electrical work inside or outside the house can only be done by a registered electrician.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
