Demolished existing treated pine deck and cleared the structure of all debris. Organised rubbish removal company to remove large pile of broken and old decking boards.
Washed down full exterior wall of house and cleaned/patched all holes
Painted exterior wall of house in two coats of paint
Cleaned, prepped and primed exterior doors - and then painted them low sheen black.
Constructed deck from merbau decking boards
Cleared and cleaned adjacent areas to the deck
Shovelled road base into areas, compacted the base. Added fine Tuscan stones on top and repeated compacting process. Created a BBQ area with some pavers.
Painted fence adjacent to decking area and installed raised beds and plantings.

The new merbau panels look great, and the repainting of the exterior walls along with the French doors have really given the area a fresh new look. The addition of the Tuscan stones and installation of the festoon lights finish off the look. A beautiful restoration of a relaxing back deck.
