Can a Ryobi blower be used to clean gutters and what is the best way to do this.
Hello @SamMoorthy
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your Ryobi blower.
The standard Ryobi blower such as the Ryobi 18V ONE+ Blower 4.0Ah Kit R18BLW24 actually has a bit of weight to it when held with a single hand. This is one of my safety concerns when using a blower at height as you will loose control and it becomes difficult to operate. You can give this a try by holding the blower above your head and turning it on and off. You'll notice that the blower actually produces a lot of backward force. Because of this lack of control at height, I don't recommend using this blower to clean your gutters.
As a safe alternative, I suggest having a look at the Ryobi 18V ONE+ EZ REACH Roof And Gutter Blower. It is a dedicated tool designed to safely blow the leaves out of your gutter. This will save you from having to go up and down ladders. Another tool that might help is the Ryobi 18V ONE+ EZ REACH Gutter Brush Attachment R18BRU10 which is compatible with the roof and gutter blower.
