Wondering what options I have to enclose this end of our deck to eliminate or at least reduce the amount of rain that comes in and wets the deck?
I was thinking of attaching some apron flashing to the truss that would direct water back onto the tiled house roof and then some colorbond sheeting on the truss up to the deck roof. Appreciate any thoughts on this or any other options!
Hello @DIYBock
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about reducing the rain on your deck.
Your idea is perfect; however, I would like to suggest using Suntuf 10mm x 2.4m Clear Sunlite Twinwal Polycarbonate Roofing or similar. This will stop the rain from coming in and still allow sunlight to enter the decking area preventing it from going dark. I propose speaking to your stores special orders team and ordering in a custom Lysaght flashing piece that will fit perfectly to your roof truss. My best advice is to double check the size and width you want the flashing to be before ordering at the store.
