Hello,
Wondering if anyone on here may be able to help me please. I have this grey water tank at my property (see attached photos). I'm wanting to empty the water that's in it. Would I be correct in doing the following: close the valve coming out of the tank, unscrew the hose going into the water pump, feed the hose into the drain, slowly open the valve? Not sure if I need to close any other valves on the pump side?
Thank you 🙂
Hello @resiak
Thanks for sharing your question about your grey water tank. I suggest engaging the services of a licensed plumber in regards to where you should empty out your grey water tank. I propose checking the rules and regulations of your local council in regards to the proper disposal of grey water in your area. For example, here in Queensland it is illegal to drain your grey water tank into your storm water drain. It's best to find out first where you are allowed to drain it before you begin draining your grey water tank.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
