Hey Team,
I was up on the roof today with the old karcher blasting away moss on my Trimdek flat roof and i accidently dented the roof. its not a huge dent, just a 'fold in' dent.
Just wondering whats the best way to fix this?
Thanks in advance
Hi @Blazadin,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Unfortunately, what @AlanM52 has said is correct. About the best you can do is push the dent out and accept that there will be a crease.
When a crease forms, the metal in that area has been stretched past its elastic limit, which means it will no longer spring back into place. Instead, the metal stays distorted, and trying to push or hammer it back can actually make the crease worse or weaken the sheet further.
Besides replacing it, pretending it isn't there is about the best thing you can do.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do to assist.
Jacob
