Hi, my patio roofing got damaged with hail today on the clear skylight panels as per the two photos. The panels are 4.5 metres in length - is this something I can buy form Bunnings? I am not sure how easy they would to be replaced as you cannot stand on the roof - its just corrugated iron panels. Any help would be much appreciated!! Thank you. Faye

Hello @Faye10
Thanks for sharing your question about your patio roofing. The product appears to be some sort of polycarbonate skylight panel, roof skylight sheet, or daylight panel. It’s designed to let natural light through while maintaining weather protection and blending with the surrounding metal roofing. In this particular instance, due to the difficulty of access and removal of the skylight panels I suggest engaging the services of a roofing specialist. They will have the necessary equipment and experience to access your patio roof safely.
I propose measuring the width and length of the skylight panel and speaking to your store's special orders team and showing them the pictures you took of your patio roof. This will help them track down that particular product. I've had a thorough search on the website and can't locate a similar product. If it can't be located, I can only suggest having the roofers patch the gap with a similar roofing sheet such as the Lysaght 0.42mm BMT Zincalume Klip-Lok 700 Hi-Strength Steel Cladding (please double check profile height before ordering).
Let me call on our experienced members @Nailbag, @Dave-1 and @AlanM52 for their recommendations.

Good Evening @Faye10
@EricL has pretty much pointed out the issues I can think of as well. The existing polycarbonite looks to be specialised to fit within the metal sheets. Spanning 4.5m with the metal and the polycarbonite sections means that its pressed in a certain way to carry the load of the sheets and stay in shape. I would hit up a carport/sunroom installer (maybe spanline but that is in NSW) and see if they recognise the product. You may be able to buy the polycarbonite sheets and do it yourself or get them to install it for you.

Hi @Faye10
It looks to be very old and weathered clip-lock roofing polycarbonate. If you can't order this through B innings special orders, your local plumbing supplies will be able to assist. Though I I don't know first hand how it's attached to advise how to remove it. I doubt it's clipped on and I can't see any fasteners, so, possibly held in place with silicone. The plumbing supplies or a roofing plumbing will know.
