I had a new roof put on and the scribed flashing does not fit. The roofer is not helpful.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Suesop. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about flashing.
It appears that the flashing is actually the correct profile for your roofing, as you can see in the first image. However, in that first image, it’s sitting slightly too low, so the flashing would need to be removed, moved up about a centimetre, and then nailed back into place to close the gap that’s currently visible.
In the second image, the flashing looks offset. It doesn’t line up with the corrugations. In that case, it would also need to be removed, shifted slightly across to align with the roofing profile, raised a little, and then refixed.
You’ve got a couple of options here. You can either keep the existing flashing and simply reposition it to suit the roof sheeting, or you could remove it entirely and screw a timber batten just below the corrugations. That would then allow you to insert a foam sealing strip, which compresses into the gap and provides a much better seal than the current setup. I've created the rendering below to illustrate.
The reason for installing the baton is that if you remove the currently flashing, it appears that the gap between the top of the wall and the bottom of the corrugated steel might be too large to be filled solely by the foam sealing strip.

Hi @Suesop
As @MitchellMc 2nd comment, the 2nd photo clearly shows the flashing is simply offset. Unscrewing it and moving it to the left will resolve the problem at no expense.
From an athletics point of view that would also be my preferred solution.
