hi, I have these stones down unused side of house so don't want to spend too much money. But I would like to fix the stones, particularly under the bins for easy movement. Any ideas? See photo.

Thankyou

Re: How to fix stones?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @CharlieBrown77. It's sensational to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about pebbles.

Could you please provide a bit more detail about the issue you’re experiencing? Is it that when you move the bins, the pebbles shift and drag out of place, or is it just that pulling the bins over the pebble surface is difficult?

If it’s mainly a surface issue, there’s not much that can be done to change how the pebbles roll under the wheels. But if they’re moving around and bunching up behind the wheels, making it hard to move the bins, you could look at using a product like Landscape Lock 5L Concentrated Garden Glue. It helps to bind the pebbles together so they stay in position.

Alternatively, depending on your budget, and assuming the soil underneath has been compacted, you could remove the pebbles in that area and lay pavers instead. While that involves some extra cost, having a solid paver base would make it much easier to move the bins back and forth along that side of the house.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
