G'day team,
Quick question and I'm hoping easy - can I remove old copper piping from an old Gas HWS? See pictures - I want to clean it up and fill the holes but I'm unsure if I need a plumber or is this something I can do myself?
Cheers in advance.
Hello @Grant-noclue
Thanks for sharing your question about your old copper gas pipe. I advise caution in regards to your old gas lines. In the interest of health and safety, I propose engaging the services of a gas fitter to make sure that the gas pipes are off and rendered safe. Once the gas fitter has assured you that it is now safe to cut the copper pipes, is the best time to begin your project.
