Hi
I’ve tiled my patio with crazy paving but got someone to do the grouting for me. Not to pleased as they didn’t remove tile glue from the edges and wondering how I can remove it as it’s quite stubborn in places and I don’t want to scrape out the grout. Any suggestions?
thank you.
Hello @bow2021
Thanks for sharing your question about removing tile adhesive on your pavers. I propose testing Builders Edge 750ml Cement 'N' Concrete Remover on a small hidden out of the way section on your patio. I recommend testing it first to make sure that it does not stain your pavers while removing the tile adhesive on the surface.
If the adhesive is too stubborn, my next recommendation is to use a Craftright 2 Piece Cold Chisel Set. Your goal is to gently tap the surface of the adhesive with the chisel on an angle to break the surface apart. You can then use the sharp corner of the chisel to lift and dislodge the adhesive on the surface.
Please remember to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a mask while working on your patio.
