How to repair cracked asphalt driveway?

Hi team, I have an asphalt driveway where some layers are breaking away. I have seen the dingo bitumen repair bags. Not sure if these are just for pot holes or whether they would work for the repairs I need?

Any tips would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

John

Re: How to repair asphalt driveway

Hello @DIYJT11

Thanks for sharing your question about your asphalt driveway. The Dingo 20kg Bitumen Repair should be able to patch the current damage on your driveway. I propose removing all the loose bits on the damaged section and the parts that may have cracked under too much pressure. It's very important that the bitumen be applied when the damaged sections are totally dry.

Please make sure to give the bitumen enough time to activate before you begin tamping the surface. Remember to put sand on the surface if you wish to use the surface straight away.

Please don't forget to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a mask.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
