How to repair dry out stains or bleach on balcony tiles

Hi,

Looking for suggestions to fix my balcony flooring surface.

Which products can i use to remove the dried out stains (dog pee) or which tiling material is this if i need to replace with new ones? Also after it is fixed, what sort of products can i use to seal it?
Thanks:)

Re: How to repair dry out stains or bleach on balcony tiles

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @heitong. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about restoring tiles.

Those tiles look quite heavily soiled, and any product that's strong enough to strip the staining out will likely adversely affect the tile itself. Have you tried hot soapy water and a scrubbing brush? You might be able to get the staining out, but the white salts that have impregnated themselves are likely permanent. You could try some Chemtech 1L Brick Tile And Paver Cleaner, but you should do a test in an inconspicuous area to ensure it doesn't damage your tiles.

If you can track down the supplier of the tiles replacing them would be the easiest option. Perhaps the balcony builder could give you an idea of the tile supplier. If you can't find the manufacturer and supplier, you will need to source equivalent tiles of the same size and material. That might prove difficult.

Here's a step-by-step guide on How to seal outdoor pavers. Crommelin 15L Water Based Paving Sealer would be an excellent choice of sealer as it is easy to apply and suitable for a wide variety of paving surfaces.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
