Hi team,
We recently got the Vuly trampoline, which has a zip-free overlapping mesh entry. It’s great for easy access, but the issue is that kids can slip out without warning, and there’s a bit of a drop to the ground.
I’m looking for a simple way to secure the door from the outside — ideally something like a Velcro strap or buckle that holds the mesh flaps together. The mesh is flexible (not solid poles), so it needs to grip the fabric without damaging it. The mesh holes are also tiny so can’t fit much through it. Photo attached
Does anyone have recommendations for Bunnings products (straps, Velcro, clips, etc.) that would work for this? Bonus points if it’s easy to unclip or undo when adults are around but secure enough that a toddler can’t open it solo.
Thanks in advance!
Hi @ramonrodriguez,
I note there is an accessory for the Vuly Flare, Tent Wall + Shade. The walls include a Velcro door panel that encloses the safety mesh entrance, perhaps that would make the entrance more secure. You can see the door flap in action in this clip.
The only alternative I can think of would be sewing Velcro tabs to the mesh. Or, you could sew on buckles.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
