Hello!
My son keeps opening the drain and putting toys etc down it. Any suggestions as to how to screw it shut? Does this brand of drain have its own screws or plugs.... what would I be screwing into?
Cheers
Jonny
Hi @JonnyH,
They aren't specific screws for these pits, but you could just drive a small button head screw like this 20mm Galvanised Button Head Screw through the holes in the grille down into the black plastic. This means you will have to rotate the grille so that the holes in the grille aren't in line with the holes in the black plastic.
These are self-tapping screws, so there is no need to predrill a hole in the black plastic.
With one screw on each side, it should give a good enough hold to prevent your son from lifting it.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
