How to stop ants entering the house?

First time posting here. This is such a great platform and amazing idea behind it and great work done here by all.
My question is; How to stop or keep ants away from entering the house from the front (external). They are getting through the cracks. Also any suggestions how to fill these cracks.

Re: stop ants

Hello @MMehdi,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. it's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about stopping ants.

I suggest giving the area a clean first and then using  Richgro 500g Ant And Wasp Killa Dust apply it into the gap and where the ants usually gather together. I then recommend covering the gap in your wall with Sika 300ml Concrete Grey Sikaflex 11FC Purform to prevent ants from entering the gap.

Here are some discussions regarding how to get rid of ants:

Thanks Eric. Another question for filling in the gap around the house (externally): can I use the same sikaflex 300ml to fill the gaps as in this image? Do they come in bigger tubes or containers?

Re: stop ants

Hello @MMehdi

To fill the larger gaps, I suggest using Moroday 15mm x 5m White Gap Filler Rod first and pushing it a maximum of 5mm into the gap before placing the Sika gap filler over it. I believe the Sika 11FC comes in a larger sausage pack - Sika 600ml Concrete Grey Sikaflex 11FC Purform. Please note that it will require a larger gun applicator.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
