How to stop weeds between pavers?

I am putting down pavers and are wondering what to use between the pavers to stop the weeds coming through. Any help would be much appreciated

Re: paving

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @cartalk. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about paving sand.

You could try using polymer paving sand between your pavers. It’s designed to lock together once moistened, creating a firmer joint that’s more resistant to weeds than standard sand. It’s also less likely to wash out in the rain. Just be sure to follow the application instructions on the bag to get the best result.

You might also consider spraying path weeder every six months as it great at preventing emerging weeds.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
