Is a thinner required when spraying KillRust epoxy enamel topcoat?

Painting an old horse float.

I have removed surface rust and coated with rust converter. I have then applied KillRust Primer. I have a cordless spray gun and think a thinner will be required to spray the epoxy enamel.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @racemgb131. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about thinning paint.

I'm not familiar with a product by the name of KillRust. Typically, most paints require thinning to flow smoothly through a spray gun. Our products generally have details of what to thin with and how much thinner to use on the can, so it might be worth checking there. Otherwise, a quick call to the manufacturer should get you the answer.

If it was one of our products you're using, if you can link me to it I'd be happy to work out the requirements for you.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
