Options to Cut Privacy Facade Panels

Dear Experts,

I have privacy panels across my balcony however the dimensions don’t quite align with the rail. What are some tools that would cut cleanly through this heavy duty weatherproof material which is circa 10mm thick
Thanks so much in advance.

Re: Options to Cut Privacy Facade Panels

Hi @4220,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.

These panels are made from plastic, and they are not overly difficult to cut.

You could use a circular saw if you had one, but it would also be easily achievable with a hand saw, such as this Craftright Tenon Saw, it would just take longer.

You can use something long and straight, like a spirit level, as a guide for both marking and cutting. A couple of clamps will help to hold it in place while you cut.

If you make sure you mark it accurately, then take your time, you won't have any issues cutting through it.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob
