Hi, I had some concreting done, and my downpipe adaptor is now slightly below the concrete surface.
The adaptor is the same as my 1st pic, I can remove the downpipe easily enough.
I was wondering if there was a rectangular shape extension that could be inserted into the adaptor.
I'm about to be getting tiling done and want to sort this out before that.
Thanks,
David.
Hello @pipersdj (David)
I am currently not aware of a PVC rectangular downpipe extension. Generally speaking, the round storm water pipe is usually extended out of the slab so that the adaptor is well above the concrete floor. In this instance, I suggest engaging the services of a plumber and asking them if they can source a rectangular PVC extension piece for your metal down pipe. If there is no alternative to the extension piece, I can only suggest that you ask your plumber to remove the adapter and extend the round PVC storm water pipe for you.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
