The Bunnings Workshop community can help with your home improvement projects.
Many thanks for joining the Bunnings Workshop community. You have joined a friendly, helpful community of people who are happy to roll the sleeves up and get stuck into home improvement projects.
We try to encourage everyone to have a go and will happily provide the advice and support you need. If you need a hand with a project, please don’t hesitate to click on the Start a discussion button. We have plenty of community members keen to share their experience and knowledge.
If you need a tradesperson to assist you, customers in the Sydney metropolitan area can utilise the Bunnings Services Marketplace. The service by TooEzi will match your job with suitable tradies in your area. Alternatively, try a site like Airtasker or hipages.
We sometimes get members on Workshop asking for recommendations for tradespeople in their area, but Workshop is a community for people right across Australia and New Zealand so it is unlikely that there will be a member near you who can recommend someone suitable. It's best to go direct to a site that is designed for that purpose.
Feel free to reach out any time you need help getting the most from the Workshop site or have any feedback about how we can make Workshop more useful for you.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @tmhn92. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing a pole.
It sounds like you’re dealing with a tricky situation. If the pole is bolted into position, it would be a good idea to hire a handyperson who can source a replacement pole and handle the installation for you. You might consider listing the job on platforms like Hipages or Airtasker, where you can connect with various tradespeople who can assist with your repair. This way, you can get multiple quotes and find someone suitable for the job.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I live in the western suburbs of Brisbane and have a small 5.4m x 3.5m concrete patio. I’m looking to have a composite deck installed over it. Can anyone recommend composite deck installers?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @VaniV. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about having composite decking installed.
As this is an Australia and New Zealand-wide D.I.Y. community, it's unlikely that our members will be able to provide specific recommendations for composite deck installers in your area. However, I’d suggest posting your job on services like Hipages or Airtasker, where you can get in touch with qualified installers in the western suburbs of Brisbane. These platforms allow you to compare quotes, read reviews, and find someone who suits your project needs.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

i have a small size of back yard in my brand new home in greenbank. like to use sapce for decking, turfing and pathway.
we like to have shedding over the decking on a reasonable price.
we also require fencing at the back yard and one side of house.
36 mtr fencing
turfing space would be around 40 to 50 mtr square
decking is around 15 mtr square
if you send me some sort of pricing estimate only
thanks

Hi @dimplesharma,
Many thanks for joining the Bunnings Workshop community. We trust you'll get loads of help and inspiration for all your D.I.Y. projects from our wonderful community members.
Please note that I have removed your mobile number from your post to protect your privacy. If you need a tradesperson to assist you, we recommend you try a site like Airtasker or hipages.
If you would like assistance in completing these projects yourself, we would encourage you to hit the Ask a question button and share more details about your needs and goals with as much detail as possible.
Thanks,

Can I get a quote for someone to stencil my toilet and bathroom floor Nunda Brisbane?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Arcangela. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about stencilling floor tiles.
Stencilling floor tiles is a fantastic way to give your space a fresh, personalised look. However, this is not a service that Bunnings provides.
You might like to reach out to platforms like Hipages or Airtasker, which can help connect you with local tradespeople who can assist with this project.
If you'd like to try this project yourself, we have some popular projects, such as this D.I.Y. stencil tiled flooring from our talented member @ZoeGilpin.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Can you help with locating a tradesman to install a Bunnings laundry in the Goulburn Valley region of Victoria?
Hi @Rensford,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
Unfortunately, we do not have tradies we can recommend for this kind of work.
My suggestion would be to use a service such as HiPages, Airtasker or True Local to find a cabinetmaker or plumber for their assistance with this job.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
