How to fix leaking eaves?

Hello,

I need to stop water ingress into this corner of the Eaves, I have checked and the water is coming from this corner only during Alfred Storm.

Any ideas how I can fix this.

Re: Leaking Eaves

Hi @JustinMcAbbe,

Is it possible to get some photos from further back showing a bit more context of where this is?

To me, it looks like a metal flashing underneath a window, so if you are seeing water here, it is not really a problem because it is draining from behind the window frame, onto this flashing, where it will dry out.

I may be wrong because I don't have the full picture, but if you are seeing water here, I wouldn't really be concerned.

If, however, the water is getting in through the crack shown in picture 3, then you could clean it up a bit using a paint scraper, then apply some No More Gaps Exterior Gap Filler, then paint over it.

I'll wait for your response and then assist further if required.

Jacob

Re: Leaking Eaves

Hello @JustinMcAbbe

Thanks for sharing the extra photos of your eaves. If the water is passing through the back of your cladding, I suggest following @JacobZ's recommendation of cleaning the gap with a scraper and filling it in with No More Gaps Exterior Gap Filler, then paint over it. This should stop rainwater from bridging inside the wall and cladding.
