How to change a desk light plug?

Hi Just wondering if im allowed to change a plug for my desk light at home in WA? The pin is damaged and bunnings is selling the plug.Ta

Hi @Avi7,

Short answer... you are not allowed to change a plug top.

However... you can change a plug top if you are a 'qualified competent person' by completing the 'Test and Tag Technician' training course and also the 'Plug Top Replacement' course 😮

When T&T training started 2006-2007 I was working in the education sector and one of the first enroll.
